Magic Resistance: The Abyssal Voidlord has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Innate Spellcasting: The Abyssal Voidlord's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 23, +15 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

  • At will: Darkness, Detect Magic, Fear, Telekinesis
  • 3/day each: Blight, Teleport, Plane Shift
Actions

Multiattack: The Abyssal Voidlord can use its Eldritch Annihilation. It then makes two attacks with its tentacles.

Tentacle: Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 10) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) necrotic damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 25 Strength saving throw or be grappled (escape DC 25). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Abyssal Voidlord can't use the same tentacle on another target.

Eldritch Annihilation (Recharge 5-6): The Abyssal Voidlord unleashes a blast of pure abyssal energy in a 60-foot radius sphere centered on itself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw, taking 20d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Lair and Lair Actions

Lair of the Abyssal Voidlord:

The Abyssal Voidlord's lair exists on the fringes of reality, a pocket dimension suspended within the swirling chaos of the Abyss itself. Accessible only through the darkest and most remote corners of the multiverse, the lair is a twisted and nightmarish realm that defies mortal comprehension.

Description: The lair is a vast, cavernous space filled with swirling clouds of darkness and eerie, flickering lights. The ground beneath is a shifting mass of writhing tendrils and jagged rocks, seemingly alive with malevolent energy. The air is thick with the stench of decay and sulfur, and the distant sounds of anguished screams echo throughout the void.

Features:

  1. Abyssal Nexus: At the heart of the lair lies the Abyssal Nexus, a massive swirling vortex of pure darkness that serves as a gateway to the infinite depths of the Abyss. The Nexus constantly pulses with eldritch energy, empowering the Abyssal Voidlord and granting it dominion over its domain.

  2. Chambers of Torment: Scattered throughout the lair are numerous chambers filled with nightmarish tortures and unspeakable horrors. These chambers are inhabited by the Abyssal Voidlord's minions, twisted abominations and enslaved souls who exist only to serve their master's malevolent will.

  3. Eldritch Runes: The walls of the lair are covered with ancient, glowing runes that pulse with dark energy. These runes serve to enhance the Abyssal Voidlord's powers and grant it control over the fabric of reality within its domain.

  4. Veil of Shadows: A thick, impenetrable veil of shadows blankets the lair, obscuring vision beyond a few feet. Creatures within the lair suffer from disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Effects of the Lair:

  1. Dark Empowerment: While within its lair, the Abyssal Voidlord gains additional hit points equal to its hit point maximum, and its Eldritch Annihilation ability recharges on a roll of 4-6 on a d6.

  2. Eldritch Resonance: Spells cast within the lair are empowered by the Abyssal Voidlord's dark influence, increasing their potency and range by 50%. Additionally, creatures that fail a saving throw against a spell cast within the lair suffer from the Frightened condition until the end of their next turn.

Once per round, the Abyssal Voidlord can use a legendary action to summon a demon from the Abyss to aid it in battle.
