Ascendant Energy. At the start of its turns the Blight gains 2 points of Ascendant Energy, up to a maximum of its own CR (5). As an action the Blight may use these points to summon taken creatures on its turn.
Blight Corruption. The Blight exudes an aura of taken energy around it. While a non-taken creature is within 30 feet of the Blight, the creature's movement speed is halved, the creature may not take the dash action, the creature may not regain hit points, and the creature takes 11 (2d10) necrotic damage at the start of its turns. Additionally the area within 30 feet of the Blight is dim light, and any non-magical light sources are extinguished within.
Protective Miasma. The blight corruption that surrounds the Blight provides protection from external threats. The Blight and any creature within 30 feet of the Blight are granted 3/4 cover against any attacks made from a creature that is more than 30 feet away from the Blight.
Ascendant Rift. The Blight may spend any amount of its points of Ascendant Energy to summon taken creature(s) of a total CR equal to the points spent, which appear in unoccupied space(s) within 30 feet. For example if 3 points are spent, this could summon one CR 3 taken, three CR 1 taken, or any other combination.
