Traits

Legendary Resistances (3 per day). If Uxie fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed it instead.

Psychic Attacks. Uxie's attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities.

Magical Resistance. Uxie has advantage on saving throws for resisting spells or magical effects.

Red Chain. Uxie can instruct Palkia, Dialga or Giratina to do things freely as a bonus action, but only one at a time.

Godly Invincibility. Uxie cannot be killed. If reduced to 0 hit points, Uxie returns to Lake Acuity to rest.

Lake Guardian. If Azelf or Mesprit are at all in danger, Uxie becomes aware of it and gains a new action which allows him to teleport to within 15ft. of Azelf or Mesprit. In addition, Uxie can breathe both air and water.

Actions

Hypnosis. Uxie moves his hands in a soothing motion and a glowing, purple, mystical ball of energy is released at any point within 120ft. in a 30ft. radius. Anyone within the radius must succeed a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 30 minutes. While charmed, any affected creatures are incapacitated and their speed is reduced to 0.

Telekinesis. Uxie's eyes glow a beautiful pink, and any objects that Uxie can see that are under 1000lbs. can now be moved by Uxie's mind by up to 100ft. Uxie can also move creatures with this ability, but Uxie must roll an Arcana check contested by a Dexterity save by the target if they are not willing. If the target fails, Uxie can move them freely with telekinesis up to 50ft. Uxie cannot move Gargantuan creatures.

Memory Wipe (Once per Day). Uxie opens his eyes and looks into another creature's eyes that can see Uxie and Uxie has line of sight with. That creature must succeed a DC 23 Intelligence saving throw or Uxie has full access to their memories. Uxie can read memories and find things out about the target. Uxie can also choose to erase 1 core memory from the creature's find (e.g. who their parents are, how they met their friends) or alter a memory to Uxie's liking (e.g. instead of Jaq the Lizardfolk Wizard being the target's best friend, Uxie is now the target's best friend). Uxie can choose to undo these affects at any time.

Psychic Noise. Uxie lets out a mysterious shushing noise which quietens the minds of any who hear it. Those who are within 300ft. of Uxie and can hear must succeed a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or take 8d10 psychic damage and have disadvantage on concentration (constitution) saving throws for 1 minute. If the creature succeeds the save, they can maintain concentration on spells normally, but take half damage.

Multiattack. Uxie can attack twice with Extrasensory.

Extrasensory. RangedWeapon Attack: +17 to hit, range 100/500 ft., 1 target. Hit: 32 (4d12 + 6) psychic damage. In addition, a hit creature must succeed a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned for 2 rounds.

Future Sight. Uxie glows with psychic energy, predicting an attack in the future against a single creature that Uxie can see. In the next 10 minutes, Uxie can choose to activate Future Sight using the Future Sight Legendary Action. If Uxie falls to 0 hit points before unleashing Future Sight, it is immediately unleashed against that creature.

Bonus Actions

Mind Read. Uxie peers into the mind of anyone within range of his telepathy, seeing their surface thoughts.

Reactions

Telekinetic Defence (Once per day). Uxie uses telekinesis to slow down incoming projectiles, causing him to have advantage on the associated saving throw or give the attacker disadvantage on the attack roll.

Legendary Actions

Uxie can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Uxie regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Mystical Power (Costs 3 Actions). Uxie glows purple and releases a purple beam of psychic energy at a single target within 90ft. The target must succeed a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw or take 12d10 psychic damage. Uxie's AC is increased by 2 until the start of his next turn.

Future Sight (Can only be used after using Future Sight as an action) (Costs 3 Actions). Uxie opens portals around the target, shooting psychic bolts at a target relentlessly. The target must succeed a DC23 Dexterity saving throw or take (8d10) psychic damage. In addition, the target will also be slowed for 10 minutes.

Teleport (Costs 2 Actions). Uxie suddenly teleports up to 200 feet away.

Move. Uxie moves up to his full movement speed.

Description

Uxie is a small, grey, fairy-like Pokémon with two grey tails that are each encrusted with a red gem. Uxie has a partially yellow face with another red gem encrusted into its forehead. Its head faintly resembles that of a helmet or a human brain. Uxie always has its eyes closed, as it can wipe out the memory of those who see its eyes.

 

Lair and Lair Actions

Uxie's lair is Lake Acuity, a beautiful lake located north in Sinnoh/Hisui. It is often surrounded by snow and it can be rather cold.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Uxie takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Uxie can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • A bolt of psychic energy comes out of the lake at a creature within 100ft. That creature must succeed a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or fall asleep for 1 action.
  • The lake glows with psychic energy, giving Uxie advantage on all checks.

Regional Effects

The region containing a legendary Uxie’s lair is a cold, yet beautiful lake, which creates one or more of the following effects:

  • You have to swim through the icy cold waters.
  • The lake seems to be constantly glistening, even without sunlight.
