Traits

Keen Hearing and Smell. The wolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Pack Tactics. The wolf has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Bonus Actions

Stance: this ability allows the creature to change its stance to either bipedal or quadrupedal.

While bipedal at the beginning of combat it can attempt to intimidate (WIS saving throw DC of 15), if a creature fails the save it is frightened. The target can attempt the save until success and cannot be frightened by this action again for 24 hours.

While quadrupedal this creature gains a bonus to movement speed, and dexterity based checks, but can only attack using its bite.

Description

bipedal and quadruped, this creature will get on its hind legs for intimidation and to reach higher ledges. It seems to be capable of using its “hands” intelligently, but lack posable thumbs, there for it is incapable of gripping objects effectively. It makes up for this by using a long tongue to pull objects into its mouth.
