Description

These spiders live in lakes that are about 45 feet deep, and they like to feed on glow worms, which gives them their frightening appearance. But if fresh meat comes into to their lake, they will not hesitate to feast.

On initiative count 15 (winning initiative ties), the Water Spider takes a lair action to cause the following effect.

  • Large waves fill its lake, avoiding the Water Spider and aiming at creatures that are hostile towards the Water Spider. The waves deal no damage and are about 5 feet high. It is a Dc 15 to dodge the waves, and if you fail the saving throw, you are knocked into the deep water.
