Spellcasting. The treesinger alone is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 12, +4 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following druid spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): druidcraft, produce flame, shillelagh
1st level (1 per day each): entangle, longstrider, speak with animals, thunderwave, create or destroy water
Treesinger Chorus. Multiple treesingers can amplify their magical power by singing together. A group of treesingers who all use their action to cast a spell function as a higher-level spellcaster, with a spellcasting level equal to the number of singers in the group. Spells cast in this way ignore the somatic and material costs, and if they apply an effect to the caster, all participating treesingers gain the effect. The following spells become available according to the size of the group:
2 or more singers: 2nd level (1 per day each): animal messenger, barkskin, healing spirit, warding wind
4 or more singers: 3rd level (1 per day each): erupting earth, plant growth, sleet storm
7 or more singers: 4th level (1 per day each): freedom of movement, guardian of nature
11 or more singers: 5th level (1 per day): wrath of nature
The treesinger can attack with their quarterstaff once, or cast a spell.
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit (+4 to hit with shillelagh), reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage, 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage if wielded with two hands, or 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage with shillelagh.
Description
Some firbolg societies commune with nature and harness druidic magic through the power of song. Treesingers are those who become adept enough at this craft to cast spells with their singing; and to become a member of a Treesinger Chorus is to feel truly at one with one's fellows and the natural world.
