Firemonger’s Blessing. The dragon has resistance to fire damage.
Artificer Pilots. The dragon has four pilots. Whenever the dragon takes 25 or more damage in a single turn, roll a d4 using the table in Mortal-Made Flaws to determine which pilot receives that damage. When all of its pilots drop to 0 hit points, the dragon becomes incapacitated.
Mortal-Made Flaws. As a result of most of its functions being controlled by mortals, the dragon will loose some abilities as their corresponding controllers drop to 0 hit points.
- Artillerist Radan. When Radan is lost, the dragon loses the Firemonger’s Blessing and the Fire Breath option from its Breath Weapons.
- Armorer Elantor. When Elantor is lost, the dragon loses the Enchanted Scales reaction and the Recharging Shield bonus action.
- Alchemist Helena. When Helena is lost, the dragon loses the Internal Mending action and the Corrosive Breath option from its Breath Weapons.
- Battle Master Alondra. When Alondra is lost, the dragon loses the Multiattack action and its flying speed becomes 0.
Multiattack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Breath Weapons (Recharge 5–6). The dragon uses one of the following breath weapons.
Fire Breath. The dragon exhales a fiery blast in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Corrosive Breath. The dragon exhales corrosive acid in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. They must also succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Internal Mending. As an action, the dragon can regain 3d4 + 9 hit points.
Recharging Shield (Recharge 5–6). The dragon gains 18 temporary hit points.
Enchanted Scales. In response to being hit by an attack, the dragon can use its reaction to add a +2 bonus to its AC, potentially causing the attack to miss.
