Divine Eminence. As a bonus action, Heckmund can expend a spell slot to cause his melee weapon attacks to magically deal an extra 10 (3d6) radiant damage to a target on a hit. This benefit lasts until the end of the turn. If the bishop expends a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the extra damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 1st.
Spellcasting. Bishop Heckmund is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). He has the following cleric spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): light, sacred flame, thaumaturgy
1st level (4 slots): cure wounds, guiding bolt, sanctuary
2nd level (3 slots): lesser restoration, spiritual weapon
3rd level (2 slots): dispel magic, spirit guardians
Multiattack. Heckmund makes two longsword attacks or summons Aegwynn's Radiance.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) slashing damage.
Aegwynn's Radiance (Recharge 6). The Bishop calls upon Lady Aegwynn's warmth, summoning a radiant sphere at his current location. Any hostile creature that starts their turn (or is when it enters) within 5 ft. of the Radiance must succeed a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take 3 (1d4 + 1) radiant damage and become blinded until the start of their next turn. Any nonhostile creature that starts their turn (or is when it enters) within 5ft. of the Radiance restores 3(1d4 + 1) hit points. The Radiance lasts for four turns.
Parry. Heckmund adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the knight must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Battle Roll. Heckmund adds 1 to his AC against one attack that would hit him. To do so, Heckmund must see the attacker. If he is not hit, he moves 5 ft. as part of this reaction.
Description
Bishop Heckmund is a man of stern vision and battle prowess. Hailing originally from no church or temple, Heckmund came face to face with a vision of Lady Aegwynn and her daughters of sunlight. Since then, he has been a powerful force in battle, primarily focusing on cleansing the land of what he considers to be the unclean.
