Description

The horrific combination of the purely good unicorn and the evil chromatic dragon creates the monstrosity known as the Uni-Dragon. The creator of this beast is unknown, but what is certain is that they must have been a truely chaotic mage that was obsessed with the balance of good and evil. These creatures are not known to survive for long after there birth, but the one's that do are exceptionally powerful and should be feared by all who step in its path. Thanks to their hybrid nature they are both shunned by dragons and celestial's alike, and will often die if left to there own devices in the wild, so they are most commonly found in the service of an evil being, usually more powerful than they. This is often the one who had created them.

The Dark Fusion. To create such a beats a mage must first procure both a unicorn and a dragon alive. The dragon can be of any type but must be within it's first 100 years of life, otherwise it would be to large. A ritual then takes place in which the dragon's and unicorn's memories are erased and the mind's and bodies are merged. This hybrid takes on both traits of unicorn's and dragon's with not much general consistency in appearance, with the exception of the horn which is present in all hybrids. However there are some who have claimed that an even more powerful secret combination exists, that of the Ki-Rin and an ancient Dragon. Nobody knowns if this uni-dragon could ever exist, but what is known is that whoever controlled such a beast could bring civilization's to their knees.

Split Deccision. The uni-dragon is a notoriously weak-willed creature, in the sence that it can never come to a deccision on it's own. This is due in part to the conflicting nature of its creation, which can make it easy for another being to dominate them. Without a master to command them  a uni-dragon would be truely lost and would never get anything done. In a twisted way a uni-dragon welcomes any kind of servitued, as in its eyes it finally has a purpose and calling in life. Yet even though they have a human level intelligence they can only be trusted with the most simple of task as their conflicting view on most things would result in inaction.

Most Common Variety's. The most common, and popular, uni-dragon hybrid is that of a green dragon and a unicorn. This is thanks to their similar habitats which makes it easier to find both near by. The second most popular hybrid is of the blue dragon and the unicorn, as the singular horn of the blue dragon somehow makes for an easier combination. This can unfortunately result in horns to large for the creature that act as a hinderance. In the evil mage breeding society this is considered to be a happy accident, simmilar to that of dog breeders and pugs. (The stat block shown above is for the combo of a young green dragon and a unicorn, this is just an example and viewers are advised to mix and match with other dragons to fit their own stories).

Metal is Incorruptable. For some unknownable reason the combination of a metallic dragon and a unicorn is impossible. Most scholars believe that the good allingment of both creatures somehow creates an inbalance that is key in the ritual. Whatever the reason few dare to try and those that have have usually met an unfortunate end.
