Ambusher. The wendiloth has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

Mimicry. The wendiloth can mimic any sounds it has heard, including voices. A creatures that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 17 Wisdom (Insight) check.

Pounce. If the wendiloth moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the wendigo can make one bit attack against it as a bonus action.

Masks of the Wild. The wendiloth can attempt to hide even when it is only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, or other natural phenomena.

 
Actions

Multiattack. The Wendiloth makes three attacks: one bite and two with its claws. If it has a creature grappled, it may substitute up to two attacks with it's fists

Bite.  Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) piercing damage plus 14 (4d6) poison damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 15). The Wendiloth has two claws, each of which can grapple only one target.

Fists. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) necrotic damage. The Wendiloth regains hit points equal to half the amount of necrotic damage dealt if the target is a creature.

 

Bonus Actions

Shadow Jaunt. The Wendiloth teleports up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. Both the space it leaves and its destination must be in dim light or darkness.

Description

The Wendiloth is a cruel fiend who enjoys stalking and playing with it's prey.  It will usually watch its prey from afar, occasionally using it's mimicry to throw people off guard.  It prefers to rely on it's stealth and speed to ambush creatures, using it's shadow jaunt to escape if it gets too wounded.
