Anti-magic Susceptibility. The animated table is incapacitated while in the area of an anti-magic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the animated table must succeed on a constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 30 seconds.

False Appearance. While the animated table remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a knighthood's round table.

Sharp edges on a round table. The table mimic has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Stabbing Adhesive. The table mimic adheres to anything that touches it. A Huge or smaller creature adhered to the table mimic is also grappled by it (DC 13 Dexterity). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.

Shortsword Multiattack. The animated table makes two melee attacks dealing 1d6 piercing damage each.

Table Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: 1d20+4", to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Table Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: 1d20 +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) acid damage.

Bonus Actions

Such Arrogance. Any target within a radius of 10 ft who has an intelligence of 10 or below must make an intelligence saving throw (DC 12) with disadvantage or be condition: frightened.

Legendary Actions

The Greatest Cause. Characters with a lawful good or lawful neutral alignment must make a wisdom saving throw (DC 10) that they must fail in order to continue fighting or succeed and instead be stunned. If the animated round table mimic succeeds in stunning one target or more, they may do another action and retain 5 hit points. This legendary action only works once.

Description

This legendary round table belongs to any knighthood who bests it. It guards the deepest secrets of its knighthood and defends it against intruders and wanderers. Its rim is gold, and the table is primarily made of wood. There is a sword pointing inward for every seat and throne, and these swords will swivel outwards to stab and pierce any unfortunate thieves, intruders, or victims. Though speculation surrounds its past, more surrounds the round table as it is; many believe that the round table mimics an animated round table (because of its seemingly spectral movement), but some brave scholars invest in the idea that the round table has been animated from a mimic, so that now it guards its knighthood.

Lair and Lair Actions

The Animated Round Table Mimic's Lair: The lair of the animated round table mimic varies from different throne rooms and knighthood headquarters, it always possesses an aura of knowledge, usually being maintained by a small group of animated armor or mimics.

Trapped. The doorway to the lair of the animated round table mimic is more than likely trapped. When the table is provoked, the entrances will become covered in green fire (deals normal fire damage), and steel bars will appear.

Intelligent Conversation. The animated round table mimic holds many secrets, but takes more by the second, anyone present in the throne room may use verbal components, but be warned, a follower of the animated round table mimic may retain any spell with verbal components that matches their challenge rating (any below a player level such as 1/2 or 1/8 may use cantrips with verbal components).
