Amphibious: The alemental can breathe air and water.
Drunken State: A creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the alemental must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become intoxicated. While intoxicated, a creature has disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws, and its movement is halved. The intoxicated condition lasts until the creature finishes a short or long rest.
Multiattack: The alemental makes two Slam attacks.
Slam: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be intoxicated (see Drunken State).
Gush: (Recharge 5–6): The alemental releases a torrent of ale in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, a creature is also intoxicated (see Drunken State).
Fermented Rebuke: When the alemental takes damage from a creature within 5 feet of it, it can use its reaction to release a burst of ale. The creature must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be intoxicated (see Drunken State).
Description
An Alemental is a frothy, ever-shifting mass of enchanted ale, often summoned by brewers or wizards with a penchant for alcoholic magic. Its body bubbles and churns with an amber hue, constantly giving off a heady aroma of hops and malt. As it moves, it leaves a trail of spilled ale, making the ground beneath it slick and hazardous. Despite its intoxicating scent, the alemental is a force to be reckoned with, capable of slamming foes with powerful, liquid appendages. Its presence induces a drunken stupor in those nearby, making even the most seasoned warriors stagger and slur. Legends say that defeating an Alemental can yield a magical brew of unparalleled quality, but few are brave enough to face one. When angered, it can unleash torrents of ale to overwhelm its foes. Its liquid form allows it to seep through cracks and flow around obstacles with ease. Though generally neutral, an Alemental’s temperament can sour quickly if it or its summoner is threatened.
