Description

A magical fey creature that takes a form of its choosing from birth. This creature is Good aligned, and is attracted to Good aligned creatures who embody characteristics that particular Bogwyn likes.

These creatures will bond some sort of permanent Symbiotic relationship with this host's soul. Giving them strength and zeal if the companions soul is pure, or taking bits and pieces of their soul if the companions soul is tainted.

Similar to Devils the Bogwyn must make you sign a sort of “contract” with it. It can be as simple as a “Yes” to the question “Can I travel with you?” They still need to ask for permission to join your souls, and even do so dishonestly, however, their intentions are absolutely pure of heart.

“The Bogwyn is a strange creature. They seek out the good in people, they can FEEL it through supernatural means, and yet sometimes the people they seek don’t always end up being the goody-two-shoes they expected them to be. However unfortunate, it does happen. When such an occasion arises, the Bogwyn is bound to this evil creature’s soul, and it to the Bogwyn’s. As stuck as the Bogwyn may be, they are not powerless. They will do everything they can to disrupt you, albeit, it isn't much. The otherworldly fortitude of these creatures is remarkable, what they may endure just to encourage the people of the Realms to do good. It is truly astounding!”

- Volothamp ‘Volo’ Geddarm

if the companion is Good aligned - The Bogwyn can give the companion Bogwyn Inspiration and Bogwyn Preparation.

Whenever the companion does something evil or immoral the Bogwyn will revoke previous boons for an undisclosed amount of time.

If the companion continues the evil actions, the previous boons go to the DM to **** you over however he feels.

If the companions' alignment is changed to Evil…

A battle of Souls will commence.
