Two Heads. The ettin has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, and knocked unconscious.
Wakeful. When one of the ettin’s heads is asleep, its other head is awake.
Multiattack. The ettin makes two attacks: one with its battleaxe and one with its morningstar.
Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d10 + 6) slashing damage.
Morningstar. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 6) piercing damage.

Tactical Coordination: Zot and Sotu can each take one reaction per round. They often use this to employ a coordinated defense strategy. For example, one head might use its reaction to parry an attack, while the other head might use its reaction to shout orders, granting allies within 30 feet advantage on their next attack roll.
-
Dual Minded: Once per day, Zot and Sotu can enter a state of heightened awareness for 1 minute. During this time, they have advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. However, at the end of this duration, they suffer one level of exhaustion.
-
Elemental Breath (Recharge 5-6): One of Zot and Sotu’s heads can exhale a breath of elemental energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The type of damage (cold, fire, lightning) is determined by rolling a d3.
-
Regeneration: Zot and Sotu regain 10 hit points at the start of their turn if they have at least 1 hit point remaining.
-
Fearsome Roar (1/Day): Zot and Sotu let out a terrifying roar. Each creature of the Ettin's choice within 60 feet that can hear it must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the Ettin is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Description
Zot and Sotu are an Ettin with a twisted blend of brutal strength and cunning intelligence, a rare combination among their kind. Each head boasts a distinct personality: Zot is the more calculating and strategic of the two, while Sotu is fiercely aggressive and relentless in combat. This twin-mindedness gives them a unique edge, making them a formidable adversary.
Zot and Sotu's bodies are covered in scars from countless battles, their muscles rippling under their thick, mottled skin. They wield a massive battleaxe and a spiked morningstar with frightening proficiency, and their bite is strong enough to crush bones.
In combat, they are an overwhelming force, using their dual reactions to parry attacks and coordinate their moves. Their Elemental Breath can devastate groups of foes, and their tactical coordination allows them to turn the tide of battle in their favor.
