Description
The hardened shell on my back has spawned its own ecosystem of bright and putrid fungi, thick grass, and the occasional small critter that may jump out to hunt before returning.
A large and swift turtle-like tail behind me, the rest of my body is more dragon-like with teal scales, sharp edges, and long claws.
As a tradition, two light jade rings don the right side of my neck as distinctive Ophinshtalajiir clan piercings.
----
The dragonborn hierarchy of honor goes something like this; Clan, Gods, True Dragon, Self, Other races. Not all dragonborn may follow this code but most do and believe this an honorable path.
I am a member of the Clan of Ophinshtalajiir.
I am honoring the Ophinshtalajiir clan by staying in these parts as a homesteader. As a centenarian in these parts, I have come to know the area as a living breathing extension of my own self. The animals know and welcome my presence, though we all understand the hunt as a way of life. However, I do try to eat more veggies than meat.
An heirloom and symbol of my clan, I carry with me an ancient conch shell that is said to be able to calm even the most turbulent situations. I am not yet a master.
My clan speaks of a war before my time, but they speak in riddles for I do not understand. I do not care for that which does not concern me, so I mainly keep to myself and my homestead about a week's journey away.
