False Appearance. The Anthropophagos' flower takes the apperance of an attractive humanoid or dryad, this apperance reamins even while the flower is in motion.
Ambusher. The Anthropophagos has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.
Alluring Pressence. When a Humanoid that can see the Anthropophagos starts its turn within 30 feet of the Anthropophagos, the Anthropophagos can force it to make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw if the Anthropophagos isn't incapacitated and can see the Humanoid. On a failed save, the Humanoid is Charmed until the start of its next turn. While charmed, the target is incapacitated and must move on its turn toward the Anthropophagos by the most direct route, trying to get within 5 feet of the Anthropophagos for a bite from it. The Humanoid doesn't avoid opportunity attacks, but before moving into damaging terrain, such as lava or a pit, and whenever it takes damage, the Humanoid can repeat the saving throw. If the saving throw is successful, the effect ends for it, and it regains its senses for the remainder of its turn.
Grasping Vines. The Anthropophagos can have up to six vines at a time. Each vine can be attacked (AC 18; 10 hit points; immunity to poison and psychic damage). Destroying a vine deals no damage to the Anthropophagos, which can extrude a replacement vine on its next turn. A vine can also be broken if a creature takes an action and succeeds on a DC 15 Strength check against it.
Multiattack. The Anthropophagos makes two attacks, one with its Slap or Bite and one with its Vines.
Slap (Flower Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) damage.
Vines. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 50 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained and has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and the Anthropophagos can't use the same vine on another target.
Bite (Bulb Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft., one Medium or smaller creature, Hit: 15 (3d6 + 5) bludegoning damage. If the creature is grappled by the Anthropophagos the creature is also swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the Anthropophagos, and it takes 10 (3d6) acid damage at the start of each of the Anthropophagos' turns. A creature reduced to 0 hit points in this way is digested and leaves no corpse.
Reel. The Anthropophagos pulls each creature grappled by it up to 25 feet straight toward it.
Description
The Anthropophagos, known colloquially as the Man-Eater Plant or Bard's Flower, is a terrifying predator disguised as an alluring human. Its deceptively beautiful flowers take on the appearance of captivating men or women, drawing unsuspecting prey close. Hidden beneath this enchanting façade is a ravenous plant, with powerful vines ready to ensnare and consume any who venture too close.
Adept at luring its victims, the Voriphylax anthropophagos remains hidden and motionless until the perfect moment to strike, using its vines to drag prey into its gaping maw. Once engulfed, the prey faces a slow and agonizing demise, digested by the plant's powerful acidic secretions.
