Shapechanger. The wereeagle can use its action to polymorph into an eagle-humanoid hybrid or into a giant eagle, or back into its human form. Its statistics, other than its AC, speed, and attack forms, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its human form if it dies.
Aerial Mastery. While in hybrid or eagle form, the wereeagle has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.
Keen Sight. The wereeagle has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Dive Attack (Eagle Form Only). If the wereeagle is flying and dives at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a talon attack, the attack deals an extra 7 (2d6) damage to the target.
Multiattack. In human form, the wereeagle makes two longsword attacks. In eagle form, it makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its talons. In hybrid form, it can attack like an eagle or a humanoid.
Longsword (Human or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage.
Beak (Hybrid or Eagle Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (3d6 + 4) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with wereeagle lycanthropy.
Talons (Hybrid or Eagle Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (4d4 + 4) slashing damage.
Defensive Maneuver (Hybrid or Eagle Form Only). When an attacker that the wereeagle can see hits it with an attack, the wereeagle can use its reaction to halve the attack’s damage against it.
