Desperate Infatuation. As a bonus action, Amora targets a creature charmed by it that it can see within 30 feet of it. Amora deals 11 (2d10) necrotic damage to the target, and Amora gains temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt.

Flashstep. Amora doesn’t provoke an opportunity attack when she moves out of an enemy’s reach.

Innate Spellcasting. Amora’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 19, +11 to hit with spell attacks). Amora can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: command (as a 2nd-level spell), detect evil and good

3/day each: charm person (as a 5th-level spell), darkness, suggestion

1/day: Summon Celestial

Magic Resistance. Amora has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. Amora makes two attacks with its Eros Spear. It can substitute Heartbreaker for one of these attacks.

Eros Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 4) slashing damage plus 27 (6d8) necrotic damage.

Heartbreaker. Amora targets one creature charmed by it that it can see within 90 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 19 Charisma saving throw or become paralyzed for 1 minute or until it takes any damage.

Description

Amora, a daughter of a love goddess and a charismatic mortal sculptor, was once a herald of love's truest form. Witnessing the loneliness of mortals, she used her charm and cunning to forge bonds, mend broken hearts, and create havens of companionship. Yet, her triumphs were short-lived. The couples she championed, intoxicated by new love's fire, grew complacent, their initial devotion withering into neglect and routine. The love she nurtured became a tool for manipulation, a weapon wielded for personal gain. Witnessing this grotesque perversion of her ideals, Amora's heart turned to ash. Love, she concluded, was a fleeting illusion, a cruel joke played by the gods.

Now, Amora stalks the land, a twisted echo of her former self. No longer a beacon of affection, she is a harbinger of despair, a whisper of doubt in the ears of the loved ones. Drawn like a moth to a flame, she infiltrates their idyllic worlds, exposing cracks in their facades, exploiting past hurts, and igniting the embers of discontent. Couples who once basked in love's warm glow now find themselves consumed by suspicion, their affection turning into a battlefield. Amora feasts on their misery, a dark reflection of the champion she once was, a chilling testament to the destructive power of love betrayed.
