Water / Blood Breathing. parasite cannot breath out of water, blood, or other bodily fluids
Parasitic Nature. water parasite survives of the nutrients supplied by the host
Parasite development. the parasite enters the hosts body as an egg and takes 2 days to develop into an adult parasite
Effects On Host. After every 2 days of having the adult paracite the host gains 1 level of exhaustion until the 4th level of exhaustion, after the 4th level of exhaustion the time for the host to gain another level of exhaustion is increased to every 5 days. for every parasite a person has decreases the time between gaining another level of exhaustion by 1 hour. The parasite also causes the person too feel extremely thirsty even if the host is well hydrated. The levels of exhaustion caused by the paracite cannot be cured by conventional means and must be cured some other way (choice of the dm)
Description
these paracites resemble small worms that can grow up to 27cm in length when inside a host, they can be found in any area of fresh water, the paracite lays its eggs in the fresh water which are consumed by a host. when a host consumes the eggs they attach to any part of the host after the stomach, the paracite will then hatch from the egg and begins to burrow its way into the part of the host that the egg attached to until it find some place that it can gain the nutrients needed to survive this will cause the host mild discomfort. Once the host eventually dies a decomposes if the host had died inside a body of water the paracite will proceed to lay its eggs in the water then dies, the eggs of this paracite can last for a time determained by the dm.
