Description
An Archmage Necromancer has tested and devised countless arcane rites and spells, plumbed over old ruins of lost cities and dark catacombs. Some are content with their life's achievements, resolving to settle down within their tower, while others seek new forms of knowledge to bring back to them. Others take on apprentices to pass on their teachings to them away from judging eyes. A few seek a twisted path with the most profaned rites, either achieving lichdom, creating new forms of undead, or amassing undead armies to advance their own agendas.
Necromancers are specialist wizards who study the interactions of life, death and undeath. Some like to dig up corpses to create undead slaves. A few use their powers for good, becoming hunters of the dead and risking their lives to save others.
