Traits

Magic Resistance. The lesser horror has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Where once blue, now brimstone brews. When the lesser horror is reduced to 0 hit points, it splits and becomes two minor horrors. If the lesser horror took slashing or fire damage during the last round, this trait doesn’t take effect.

Actions

Multiattack. The lesser horror makes two claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage. If both claw attacks hit the same target, the target is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the lesser horror can't grapple another target.

Warp Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +5 to hit, range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) fire damage.

Consume. The lesser horror makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the lesser horror, and it takes 11 (3d6) acid damage at the start of the lesser horror’s turn. The lesser horror can have only one target swallowed at a time.

If the lesser horror takes 15 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the lesser horror must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate the creature, which falls prone in a space within 5 feet of the lesser horror. If the lesser horror dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 feet of movement, exiting prone.
