Traits

Shapechanger. The werewolf can use its action to polymorph into a wolf-humanoid hybrid or into a wolf, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The werewolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Regeneration. The werewolf regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and isn't in sunlight or running water. If the werewolf takes psychic damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the werewolf's next turn.

Description

A large, fearsome werewolf towers before you, standing over 8 feet tall. Its muscular frame is covered in thick, matted fur that is a dark, almost black, shade of gray. The creature's eyes glow with a menacing red hue, filled with an unnatural intelligence and primal fury. Its head is that of a savage wolf, with a long snout lined with sharp, glistening teeth, and its mouth is slightly open, revealing long, sharp fangs dripping with saliva.

Its arms are massive and powerful, ending in large hands with clawed fingers, each claw as long as a dagger and stained with the blood of previous victims. The werewolf's claws are poised to strike, ready to tear through flesh and bone with ease.

In one of its hands, the werewolf grips a massive, ancient greatsword, the blade almost as tall as the creature itself. The sword is jagged and worn, with runic symbols etched along its length, and it radiates a faint, eerie glow, hinting at a dark, magical origin.

The creature's body is a blend of man and beast, with powerful, sinewy muscles rippling beneath its fur, and its legs are those of a wolf, ending in large, clawed paws. Its stance is hunched, ready to pounce, every part of its being exuding lethal potential.

Above the werewolf, a silvery beam of light shines down from the sky, casting an eerie glow on the ground. This is the Moonbeam spell, which the werewolf controls with ease, its eyes briefly flashing as it directs the beam to target its prey.

The air around the creature is thick with the scent of blood and the primal fear it invokes, as the werewolf's breath comes out in heavy, visible puffs, misting in the cool night air.
