Description

The warper is an unusual creature even for those that dwell in the starlight seas of the expanse. From all observations and dissections, it appears to be an amalgamated creature of various unknown lifeforms, created by peoples unknown.

What is known about them is that they are generally indifferent to other creatures that keep their distance, but if they detect a creature that is infected with some kind of disease, they will attack without mercy until it is destroyed, teleporting them off of vessels and into their waiting claws in some instances. Once the infected creature is slain, they return to their previous, uncaring patrols as though nothing had happened.
