Traits

Draconic Preying. Since Dragohunters usually kill and eat dragons, they're very adept at facing deadly threats. On top of that, if faced against a Dragonborn or any Dragon-related creature, it will prioritize killing that creature and will try to disregard all other threats. If it has no other choice but to face an opposing creature interrupting its dragon hunting, it will either swiftly flee or try knocking the creature away from the Dragohunter's prey.

Description

Adult Dragohunters resemble Adult Black Chromatic Dragons with hints of a dark metallic shine; similar to that of dark opal ores. It has dark spines on the back and top of its head, forearms, elbows, heels, and especially on the end of its tail. The spines on the tail-tip are seemingly sharper than all other spikes placed on its body. The spines are a dark-grey as opposed to the shining black of most of the other body parts. The scales of Dragonhunters are naturally hardened, and have the texture and strength of pure diamonds. Near the tips of the spines, the coloration fades into a white. The spikes are quick to regrow, and will fall off when worn down or old. These spines are normally only shed around hunting or breeding grounds so gathering these spikes not only is a high-paying task, but also a fatal one.
