Charge. If Beza moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 21 (4d10) damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 21 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Beza fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Photosynthesis. If the Beza is in direct sunlight, at the start of each of its turns, it regains 50 hit points. This regeneration is interrupted if it is removed from sunlight. Beza only dies if it falls to 0 hit points and does not regenerate.

Speak with Beasts and Plants. Beza can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language.

Spring Incarnate. Beza is the literal, physical incarnation of the season spring. It is perpetually under the effects of the control weather spell, which allow it to keep the area around it perpetually balmy and temperate, with clear skies or light clouds, and calm, fragrant breezes. Wherever it walks, spring follows. If Beza were to die, the season of spring would cease to exist, and the natural world would be thrown into terrible turmoil until its' replacement.

Actions

Ram. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 40 (6d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone creature. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Season of Bounty. Beza creates a surge of life that suffuses nearby plants with spring magic. Sunflowers, dandelions and marigolds erupt from its steps, and peaches, strawberries, and other fruits grow from its antlers and fall to the ground. Creatures that eat from this bounty gain the benefits of a heroes' feast. Typically, Beza only uses this ability to bless a village of animalfolk as it migrates by.

Spring Breath (Recharge 5–6). Beza exhales a cone of pollen and floral essence in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw, taking 63 (18d6)  poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, a creature is also poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned in this way, a creature is incapacitated as they sneeze uncontrollably and their vision blurs with tears.

Legendary Actions

Beza can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Beza regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Move. Beza moves up to its speed. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Attack. Beza makes one attack with her scimitar, unarmed strike, bite, or fling.

Spring Summons (Costs 3 Actions). Beza summons 2d4 giant dragonflies, which each appear in unoccupied spaces within 60 feet of Beza and act as its allies. A dragonfly disappears when it is reduced to 0 hit points. When Beza uses this legendary action, it can't use it again until all dragonflies summoned by it have disappeared.

Description

To the animalfolk of Bloomburrow, Beza is enormous, the elemental elk's petal and leaf-covered body striding far above them. With antlers made of birch trees, and flowers and fruit growing on it, Beza is not only the herald of spring, it is the literal manifestation of it. Wherever Beza goes, spring blooms immediately in its wake.

"We call it the Season of Spring, but honestly, most call Beza by name! It's adored enough that feasts are thrown in its honor. Beza isn't the only Calamity to turn ash and death into new growth, but it's certainly the biggest. Perhaps we're a bit too wishful to think it's a friend of ours, but, indeed, it's never chased anyone. We've seen it fight off other Calamities. I distinctly remember my mother telling a story of climbing a tree in her youth to jump on its back as it walked by. It's peaceful enough that she lived to tell the tale. And with an undefeated fighting record, well, I'd personally say the feasts are deserved." —Ms. Bumbleflower
