Description
An animaperdere is a devil that feeds on the personality of its victims. The creature resembles a smoky shadow to normal vision, but appears to be a twisted skeleton with a mouth overstuffed with protruding teeth to those who see it only through darkvision. These shadowy monsters are often first discovered trapped in a sealed container that is locked with a protection from good and evil spell, often written in runes on the outside of the vessel.
Once the Animaperdere has chosen a victim, it stalks that target in the darkness, attacking over the course of several days. Once the victim’s Charisma has been entirely drained, the body combusts.
