Shapechanger. The weredrakewolf can use its action to polymorph into a drakewolf-humanoid hybrid or into a drakewolf, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Keen Hearing and Smell. The weredrakewolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pounce (Drakewolf or Hybrid Form Only). If the weredrakewolf moves at least 15 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the weredrakewolf can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.
Blood Mothers Blessing. While in combat as drakewolf or hybrid form, any natural 1 skill checks rolled may be rerolled. This can only be done again after a long rest. While in humanoid form, any natural 20 or natural 1 skill checks will result in them being forced into their hybrid form.
Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). In humanoid form, the weredrakewolf makes two sword attacks or two longbow attacks. In hybrid form, it can attack like a humanoid or make two claw attacks.
Bite (Drakewolf or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 6 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with weredrakewolf lycanthropy.
Claw (Drakewolf or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.
Tail Sweep (Drakewolf or Hybrid Form Only) Melee Weapon Attack: As an action, they can attack all enemies within 5ft with their tail. Targets must make a Dexterity saving throw with a DC equal to the weredrakewolf Dexterity ability score + their proficiency bonus. Any that fail the saving throw take 1d8 + their Strength modifier Bludgeoning damage. If same size or smaller, targets are also knocked prone. This action can only be used again after a turn has passed where no actions were used by the weredrakewolf.
Sword (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Longbow (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Description
A weredrakewolf is a rare form of lycanthrope that takes on the appearance of a humanoid, drakewolf, and a drakewolf hybrid. This variant is due to the weredrakewolf being altered due to the blood mothers blessing from the initiation ritual into the Blood Mother cult. Known to use weapons and armor while in hybrid form.
