Aversion to Silver: Upon being struck with a silvered weapon, Albus' rage spikes but it does also bring him all too aware of his own morality. Seeking preservation, he will attempt to seek reason over violence despite his burning anger.
Hateful Disposition: Albus Pendula suffers disadvantage on any Charisma (Persuasion) checks but advantage on any Charisma (Intimidation) checks.
One Broken Twig...: Seeking preservation of the Dreadwoods, any creature that has intentionally damage the Dreadwoods invokes any and all ire from it and it's protector. All damage that Albus deals towards the 'intruders' increases by 1d6+3 (6) Fire damage.
I am the Spriggan...: Albus is alerted to the presence of uninvited beings within the Dreadwood, learning their race and their corruption towards the Beast Scourge.
Multiattack: Albus Pendula makes two Assail and Slam attacks against creatures within range. Any number of those attacks can be substituted with Hurl Soulfire attacks.
Assail and Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) Bludgeoning Damage + 3 (1d6) Fire Damage.
Hurl Soulfire. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 20/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) Fire damage + 7 (2d6) Psychic Damage.
Emblazoned Soulfire. Albus Pendula makes six Soulfire attacks against creatures within range but all attacks are made at disadvantage and until the start of his next turn, he cannot perform Lair actions.
Forest's Reclamation: With a screech of anger, Albus Pendula makes an Assail and Slam attack against each creature within range but all attacks are made with disadvantage and until the start of his next turn, he can't take Lair actions.
Sense of the Wild. Albus makes a Wisdom (Insight) check to attempt to discern a creature's disposition towards him and the Dreadwoods - on a success against the creature's deception check (Which can be chosen to fail), the Spriggan gleans the intents of the creature's reasoning for being within the Dreadwoods.
Once a Man. As a reaction to having the Blight spell being cast upon him, a vile reaction occurs as the mortal being inside recoils violently. The spell rebounds and the caster instead takes damage from the Blight spell as though they were the original target.
...And I Speak for the Trees. As a reaction to sensing a Beast enter the Dreadwoods, Albus impales it upon a fiery crucifix eerily similar to that of the Innarda made of the burning roots of the Dreadwood.
Albus Pendula, Ragefilled Spriggan can perform the following Legendary Actions at the end of another creature's turn. He can perform a maximum of 3 of these actions before his next turn.

Description
Many year, much even beyond the very construction of the walls of Luyarnha, its great lakes fed into one of the most prosperous woodlands that stood nearby to a grand battlefield of such an old age. The battle reduced the lack to a mire that was forced to flow in other directions thanks to fortifications and the like. Thus causing the draining of life from the woods south of where Luyarnha would be built. In the Radiant City's shadow, the woods would soon recover but as the beast scourge entered its perimeter, the druids inside, followers of the Circle of Symbiosis, were found on the backfoot. Their souls and all their remaining fight went into one final ritual - Albus Pendula was the last to live beyond that ritual as the trees lay ablaze - malign crucifixions of rampaging beasts and druids alike. Their bodies becoming the new calcified and burning trees.
His feet in agony, roots formed his nerves as he realised what he was forced to become. A Spriggan. A malformed dryad of old as his body began to become overgrown; his muscles now tightly wound vines, his blood becoming sap yet his mind remained as sharp as a blade and so as his sorrow mulled away, it left a hole. One that fire soon burned inside. Not of ambition but of retribution. For all would pay for his loss.
Alone for so many years, he continues to provide cover for his family's graves - though now distinguishing not between Luyarnhan and Beast - for now all burn inside the everlit Dreadwoods.
Lair and Lair Actions
Albus' Dreadwood expands for many a mile south of Luyarnha, his roots as deep as the trees' roots that he resides by - in its own right, it helps to dissuade any immediate and unimpeded attack from the south for to attempt to rid the wood of its protector is to beckon a fiery death indeed.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Albus Pendula takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Albus may only use the Vengeance of the Forest action until he is bloodied or suffers damage from a silvered weapon in which case Raging Hearth and Flammable Fury becomes accessible.
- Vengeance of the Forest: The very roots of the trees begin to assail attackers within their vicinity, protecting Albus as he has done them for many a year. Each creature hostile to the Spriggan and within 5ft of the base of any tree with 60ft of the Spriggan must make a DC 19 Strength Saving throw or be grappled and restrained until freed from the grasping roots of the trees. A successful DC 17 Athletics check rids a creature of the roots - a creature can also use its action to rid another creature of the roots.
- Raging Hearth: Unleashing his pain upon those around him, the Spriggan bellows a song not of honeyed or bewitching words but of grief and sorrow. Each creature within 60ft of Albus must make a DC 16 Wisdom Saving throw or become frightened of Albus Pendula as the blurred words and songs unveil his truest of pains. Solidarity.
- Flammable Fury: The fires of the Dreadwood flicker and burn and burst, proving to destroy the woods around them and any creatures unlucky to remain nearby. Each tree within 20ft of Albus suddenly burn bright and explode. Each creature within 10ft of each tree (including Albus) must succeed on a successful DC 16 Dexterity Saving Throw or take 11 (2d10) Fire damage and 11 (2d10) Piercing damage or half as much from a successful save. The tree's smoldering remains now count as difficult terrain.
Regional Effects
The Burning Dreadwood is Albus Pendula's domain and whilst he resides within - as he was cursed to do so - the following effects remain:
- As Above, So Below: During the emblazoned moon, any fire caused from the perpetually aflame woodlands deals an addition 11 (2d10) fire damage in addition to any damage they would deal.
- Scorched Remains: Should a creature perish within the woods under the night of the Scorching Moon, should their body not be recovered by the morning sun, their corpse is burned and its last resting place is only marked as a scorch mark including any and all items they held on person - save magical and silvered items.
- Sweltering Woodlands: Creatures whom need to, must consume twice as much water to remain hydrated and suffer disadvantage to hide from wild animals due to the scent given off due to their increased sweating.
If the Ragefilled Spriggan dies, these effects fade over the course of the subsequent six hours as the fires within the Dreadwoods subside and the barrier they provided as protection from the southern Beast Scourge subsides... Maybe that wasn't a great idea...
