Synapse. If the Tyranid is within range of a synapse node creature it gains advantage on all charisma savingthrows, +1 to their damage roles and immunity to the charmed condition.
fights first. The leaper has advantage in initiative rolls.
Lone operative. The leaper cannot be target with range attacks and spells unless it is within 30ft of the attacker.
Infiltrator. While Invisible the leaper makes no noise, but is still physical so will still make noise when moving through things such as water.
Stealth. The leaper can use its action to become invisible.
Leapers talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage.
Cunning action. The lictor can take a bonus action on each of its turns in combat. This action can be used only to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.
Bounding leap. This creature can add and additional 2d12 ft onto its high and long jumps.
Description
Stealthy hunters and expert ambushers, Von Ryan's Leapers are swift, agile and especially lethal when fighting in dense terrain. Akin to living mines, they lie still at the optimum locations to cause as much damage as possible. When they sense the perfect time to strike, they butcher all around in a murderous frenzy.
