Description
The weakest type of slime known to man. It mostly comes to be from remains of the defeated Gelatinus cube if the carcass is to be left alone for a week. Then that carcass is divided into many small blobs of slime each of which forms it own nucleus. These newborn creatures like to remain near the mother corpse feeding on the remaining slime pieces and other filth.
Baby slimes are usually green oozes that prowl in dark, wet areas like swamps and sewers to find prey. They usually subsist off of fungi and plants, but when a more substantial meal wanders past, they pounce and slay them, dissolving all organic materials before moving on to find other prey. As such, they sometimes contain coins and other valuables from previous victims. Their powerful enzymes can break down almost any organic substance, but stone, metal, and other similar substances are completely untouched.
Unique biology: creatures from the ooze family usually do not need feeds to live instead if supplied with water they seem to do just fine. Al thou if a slime wants to evolve and grow it is required for it to eat as many nutrients as possible. From these nutrients also depends how fast slime evolves and into what sub-type it evolves.
Ooze Nature. A giant slime doesn't require sleep.
