Pained Smile. While they are not wearing armor, the Painsinger's AC includes their Charisma modifier.
Pain Sense. As long as the Painsinger is not incapacitated they can use their psionics to sense any creature that is missing hitpoints within 60 ft. of them. The Painsinger can see any such creature through total cover, heavily obscured areas, invisibility, or other phenomena that would normally prevent detection. This sense can be blocked by a a magical effect that blocks unwanted telepathic contact such as a ring of mind shielding.
Bladed Mind. Magic cannot read the Painsinger's thoughts unless they choose to be affected. A creature who attempts to do so must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving through or become frightened of the Painsinger until the end of that creature's turn.
Multiattack. The Painsinger makes three Psionic Rend attacks.
Psionic Rend. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (4D8 + 5) force damage.
Spellcasting (psionics). The Painsinger casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Charisma as their spellcasting modifier. (DC18):
At Will: Mage Hand (the hand is invisible), Light, Message, Feather Fall
2/Long Rest Each: Fear, Dispel Magic (at fourth level)
1/Long Rest Each: fly, Raulothim's Psychic Lance, Hold Monster, Synaptic Static, Power Word: Pain
Psychic Step. The Painsinger teleports, along with everything they are wearing or carrying, to an unoccupied space they can see within 30 ft. of them.
Wrenching Fling (2/Long Rest). The Painsinger selects a creature within 60 ft. of them and siezes that creature in a telekinetic grip. The targeted creature must make a DC 18 Strength saving throw. Failure: the creature takes 21 (3D10+5) force damage and is moved 30 ft. Success: half damage only.
Suffer With Me (Recharge 5-6). Trigger: the Painsinger would take damage. Response: The Painsinger reduces the damage by half and forces a creature within 60 ft. of them to make a DC 18 Intelligence save. Failure: 32 (6D8+5) psychic damage. Success: half damage.
War Magic. The Painsinger could make an attack of Opportunity. Response: The Painsinger casts a spell that targets only the triggering creature.
Description
Order of the Bladed Mind. Among Akiros' many martial orders the Bladed Mind is the most feared both within the Imperium's borders and without. Initiates in the order must strengthen both their minds and body's before they become full-fledged members. Once truly inducted the order trains its members how to interact with the world directly with their minds by focusing their will on a facet of the order's ideology, granting them psionics that they wield both in and out of combat. The Bladed Mind is considered a sect of Zayva worship and its grandmaster answers directly to the Pontifex Maximus of the Zayvan Church.
Painsingers. In the old days the Painsingers focused their minds on the beauty of the humanoid form. This fascination led many of this original order's members to worship Eros, the deity of beauty. When Ameranth's other gods were censored by the Imperium the Painsinger's found another form of beauty to sharpen their minds: bodies contorted by the pain of violence. This change saw the order subsequently absorbed by the Bladed Mind.
