Grappler. The antlion has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
False Appearance. While the antlion is motionless it is indistinguishable from the sand around it.
Multiattack. The ant lion makes two attacks, one with its bite and one with it's Sand Throw.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends the Antlion cant use its bite to grapple.
Sand Throw: Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: Creature becomes blinded until the end of its next turn.
Shifting Sand:(Recharge 5–6). The ant lion shifts all the sand around it. All creatures within 30ft of the Ant Lion must make a DC 16 Strength Saving throw or be shoved 20ft closer to the ant lion and be knocked prone .
Description
Ant Lion's are ambush predators, creating large steep pits in the sand that unwary prey stumble down towards the awaiting jaws below. Cunning predators of the desert, they will often use something as bait like a small dead animal or shiny metal object to attract larger more substantial prey.
