Posted Apr 8, 2026This is perfect for a meme. So, I'm young, and some of my friends play Isle. A Roblox (Cringe I know) game. One of the hard to defeat enemies in the game is called Frog. Now he's not a frog like this one, however, he IS named Frog. Frog controls these undead called Frogspawns. So what if, instead of creating a character sheet for a very difficult boss, I just used this guy but made it so he summons Frogspawns a lot more often, meaning if the party CAN hit him, it's a quick fight, but if they CAN'T it's still a boss fight. Just to say that if they CAN, I can always say, "Aw dang, you guys beat my pet frog. However, it wasn't THE Frog." So, the Frogspawn keep spawning and they have to go kill the actual Frog. But if they're suffering and manage to win, I can just say "Good job, you managed to defeat the horde event." This is all theoretical cause I have no friends, but its still a thought, if anyone else wants to use it in their campaign. It's funny to me, so that's all I needed.
