Legendary Resistance (1/Day). If the Purifier fails a saving throw they can choose to succeed instead.
Aura of Punishment. The area within 10 ft. of the Purifier is considered difficult terrain for the Purifier's enemies. Any creature that hits them with a melee attack while within 5 ft. takes 9 (2D8) psychic damage.
Bladed Mind. Magic cannot read the Purifier's thoughts unless they choose to be affected. Any creature who attempts to read their thoughts without permission must succeed on a DC17 Intelligence saving throw or become stunned until the start of that creature's next turn.
Defender. The Purifier adds +1 to their AC when they are wearing armor.
Multiattack. The Purifier makes three attacks, two with their enforcer's blade and one with their mind blade.
Enforcer's Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 11(2D6+4) slashing damage plus 9(2D8) psychic damage.
Mind Blade. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 60 ft, one target. Hit: 11(2D10) psychic damage.
Spellcasting (psionics). The Purifier casts one of the following spells, requiring no components and using Charisma as their spellcasting modifier. (DC17)
At Will: Mage Hand, Message, Light
2/Day Each: Cause Fear, Sending
1/Day Each: Zone Of Truth, Hold Person, Dispel Magic (at forth level), Synaptic Static, True Seeing
Psychic Step. The Purifier teleports, along with everything they are wearing or carrying, to an unoccupied space they can see within 30 ft. of them. Any creature within the space they left takes 11 (2D10) psychic damage unless they succeed on a DC 17 Intelligence saving throw.
Parry. Trigger: the Purifier is hit by an attack. Response: the Purifier adds +4 to their AC potentially causing the attack to miss.
Description
Order of the Bladed Mind. Among Akiros' many martial orders the Bladed Mind is the most feared both within the Imperium's borders and without. Initiates in the order must strengthen both their minds and body's before they become full-fledged members. Once truly inducted the order trains its members how to interact with the world directly with their minds by focusing their will on a facet of the order's ideology, granting them psionics that they wield both in and out of combat. The Bladed Mind is considered a sect of Zayva worship and it answers directly to the Pontifex Maximus of the Zayvan Church.
Purifiers. Purifiers unlock their psionic potential by devoting their minds to the Order and Imperiums need for unity. Their psionics allow them to sniff out falsehood and disloyalty. They have no hierarchy. Instead each purifier answers to the Pontifex and works as a member of Akiros' secret police. Purifiers often carry a spell scroll with the comprehend languages spell written on it.
