Description
A Grand Bacteriophage is, as the name implies, a large bacteriophage virus. These creatures are nearly double the height of the average human and possess deadly stingers that release a swarm of microscopic bacteriophages into a host, causing mass necrosis and viral sickness. Those stung by a bacteriophage must succeed Fortitude/Constitution saving throws every round of combat or take an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. This effect lasts until the afflicted party member regains full HP, either through healing or by taking a long rest. If not treated within three days of affliction, the effect will become 1d4 + 2 necrotic damage, and another 1 damage will be added for every three days after that.
