Traits

Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.

Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7{"diceNotation":"1d20+4","rollType":"to hit","rollAction":"Bite"} to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1d4+3 piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 9 Constitution saving throw or take 2 (1d4) poison damage.

+7 to hit 5 feet range On a hit the spider moves into the space of the target and attaches to it, moving with the attached creature. While attached the blightspider cannot attack any other creature with a bite but can attack with advantage on the creature its attached to. A creature can attempt pulling off the spider as an action by making a DC 15 athletics or acrobatics check. The blightspider can detach as part of its movement and does so automatically if it dies.

If the blight spider hits a creature with its bite attack while its attached to the target the creature must make a DC 15 constitution saving throw or the blight spider begins to fuse with the creature's flesh. A creature can choose to fail, allowing the blight spider to become a part of them. The creature gains a new attunement slot that is filled by being attuned to the spider and gains a telepathic link with the blight spider
if the creature doesn't accept the blightspider, then on a critical hit against the target the bite deals maximum damage (20) piercing damage. The fused can repeat the constitution saving throw at the end of each of the blight spider's turns. A lesser restoration, cure ailment or remove curse also removes the blightspider.
If a creature dies while attuned to or fused to the blightspider the creature's body is revitalized and ressurected to be used as a vessel for the Blightspider ascendant. The blight spider ascendant is a spirit that manifests Psychic domination with 17 power power augmented to permanently swap the Blightspider ascendant's mind with the fused blightspider, with the host's mind. Alternatively, the host and the blight spider's conciousness merge and become a mix of the two. Regardless of which method, the creature has 2 levels of exhaustion, blightspider ascendant is at half its maximum hitpoints and half its power points

Reactions

Spell Siphon. The blightspider or a creature attached to the blightspider may take this reaction. The blightspider may not use this reaction while fused. Force a creature that you or the blightspider can see that is casting a spell to make a charisma saving  throw the dc is uses the attuned creature's Save DC, or 15. if the creature fails the spell is cast as normal but the spell's knowledge is siphoned. While the spell is siphoned the  the attuned creature can cast the spell using the spell slot of an appropriate spell level. The original spellcaster cannot cast that spell again. Once the attuned creature casts the spell it is no longer siphoned. A creature can siphon a number of spells equal to their spellcasting or psionic ability modifier (minimum of one) Upon dying, going unconscious or taking a long rest, the spells are no longer siphoned.
