Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) slashing damage.
Takedown. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and the beringei can automatically hit the target with its bite.
Opportunity Tackle. When a creature attempts to move outside the beringei's melee range, the creature must succeed a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
Description
The beringei resembles a large chimpanzee, with coarse black fur and large talons on its hands. Where a normal head should be is a wolverine-like skull with glowing green orbs in the eye sockets. They like to hunt in packs.
