Description

Born of eggs laid in safe coastal areas or ships that have been cleared out by their parents. Abyssal Sea Elf Hatchlings are grotesque, standing around a foot tall when standing fully erect, preferring to move on all fours while on land. They are extremely thin, and extremely ravenous for flesh. The parents leave bodies behind for them to feast on, but if that is not enough they will swim off to consume other small marine life or if they are lucky, another fresh victim. 

Hatchlings are more monster than anything else relying on instinct and fleeing when its life is in danger of ending. Many of them die due to bigger predators, yet their nests are never guarded. For it seems only the strong may serve their Lady of the Deep.
