Sonar: Being Deafened causes creatures blindsight range to be cut in half while within water, to 10ft while on land.

Abyssal Sea Mastery: While submerged within the Abyssal Sea, this creature cannot be attacked by non magical sea creatures, and can communicate with said sea creatures through crude psionics. Also gains Advantage on Stealth Checks as well as Survival Checks for tracking while submerged.

Siren's Song. Creature will begin to sing in Deep Elven infusing the song with its Psionic Abilities. Creatures who can hear the song must make a DC 16 Charisma Saving Throw, upon a failure one of 3 effects may be chosen to be imposed upon the target:

  • Come Hither…: Target is compelled to approach the Siren, it must use its entire turn to move closer to her.
  • Fight for Me…: Target is compelled to move and attack the closest ally, it must do so on its turn.
  • Leave Me…: Target is compelled to move away from the Siren as if under a fear effect, it must spend its turn moving away from her, even if such a move would put them in danger.

Targets get a chance to save from the effects at the end of each turn, as long as the Siren is still singing. The Siren must use its bonus action to concentrate on the song each turn, it may still move and attack while singing. Targets under the effects of the siren are considered helpless, when making attack rolls against them is concerned.

Reactions

Improved Defensive Scramble. When an attacker within 60ft makes an attack against this creature, it must make DC 16 Wisdom save. if it fails disadvantage on all attack rolls until the save is made, the triggering attack also fails to hit. Creatures Immune to Psychic damage are immune to this ability.

Description

The adult female Abyssal Sea Elf Descendant. These creatures resemble merfolk to some degree, with a large fish like tail where its legs would be. They are never alone, as a Siren is usually in command of anywhere between 5 to 20 of its kind though sometimes even more than that. always males of varying stages, as other females are considered potential rivals, so Sirens themselves are almost always solitary. Only breaking that an Awoken issues a direct order to work together.

The Siren serves many purposes to the Abyssal Sea Elf forces, it can attract entire boats and sailors with ease, providing food for her group. A Siren may also be sent as a high priority boat killer, if brute force would suffer too many losses. A Siren also serves a much more long term purpose, as a sort of ‘Checkpoint’ for either food or supplies.
