Amorphous. The ooze can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Blood Drain. A creature that touches the ooze or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 5 (1d10) necrotic damage and the ooze gains temporary hit points equal to the damage done.
False Appearance. While the ooze remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a pool of blood.
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage, and if the target is not a construct, undead, plant, or ooze, it must make a DC 15 constitution save or the ooze draws some of the target's blood from its body and deals an additional 11 (2d10) necrotic damage, and the ooze regains hit points equal to the damage done. Should this additional damage reduce the target to 0 hit points, the target's blood forms into another blood ooze.
Description
Pools of blood given limited sentience, blood oozes endlessly seek out blood spilt from wayward adventurers in order to grow and sustain their existence. If a blood ooze is unable to consume new blood, it will eventually expire.
