Actions

Multiattack. The roc makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its talons.

Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (4d8 + 9) piercing damage.

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (4d6 + 9) slashing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the roc can't use its talons on another target.

Desert Weapons. (Recharge 5-6). The roc uses one of the following abilities.

Sandstorm. The roc beats its wings, sending a cloud of sand and dust swirling around in in a 100-foot wide sphere. Each creature in the sphere must make a DC 19 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 40 feet away from the roc. Every creature in the sphere except the roc is subjected to the blinded condition. The sphere lasts until the end of the roc's next turn, and can't be dispersed by any nonmagical means.

Static Charge. The roc exhales lightning in a 100-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, taking 25 (5d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Wind Burst. The roc exhales wind in an 80-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 60 feet away from the roc.
