Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d6 + 2) slashing damage. If the target is a creature other than an elf or undead, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Possession. Once per round, as a bonus action, Wendigo can attempt to possess a creature. If the creature is anything other than human, the possession automatically fails. The target creature must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become "possessed", with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. While possessed, they must attack any nearby humans with bite attacks (same stats as Wendigo). Will get to attempt to shake it off at the end of each turn via a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. Lesser restoration will end this effect.
Description
At 15 ft tall, the Wendigo is a mythological cannibalistic monster in the spiritual tradition of North American Algonquian-speaking tribes. It is associated with winter and described as either a fearsome beast that stalks and eats humans or as a spirit that possesses humans, causing them to turn into cannibals.
