Evasion. If Wain is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails. He can’t use this trait if he’s incapacitated.
Magic Unarmed Strikes. Wain’s weapon attacks are magical.
Unarmored Defense. While Wain is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, his AC includes his Wisdom modifier.
Exquisite Accuracy. Once per turn Wain can reroll an attack he missed.
Multiattack. Wain attacks two times using his unarmed strike, weapons , or both.
All Weapons. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, Wain can choose one of the following additional effects:
- Wain gets an extra +2 to his AC until the end of his next turn.
- The Attack does an extra 2d10 damage.
- The target must succeed on a DC 19 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of Wain’s next turn.
Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 7) piercing damage.
Infinite strike (Recharge 6). Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: The target must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target is reduced to 0 hit points. On a successful save, the target takes 55 (8d10) necrotic damage.
Deflect Missile. In response to being hit by a ranged weapon attack, Wain deflects the missile. The damage he takes from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + 27. If the damage is reduced to 0, Wain catches the missile if it’s small enough to hold in one hand and he has a hand free.Wain
Slow Fall. Wain reduces the bludgeoning damage he takes from a fall by 100.
Parry. Wain can add 5 do his AC.
Wain can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn.Wain regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Quick Step. Wain moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Uncanny Dodge (Costs 2 Actions). Wain takes the dodge action.
Overwhelming Assault (Costs 3 Actions). Wain makes one melee weapon attack.

Lair Actions
When fighting inside its lair, an Wain can assume a stance. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Wain assumes this stance and causes one of the following effects. Wain cannot assume the same stance twice in a row:
Defensive Stance. Wain gains a plus 3 bonus to his ac and replaces a weapon attack (no bonus ability) with his parry ability.
Offensive Stance. Wain Gains an extra action and his infinite strike recharges.
Rejuvenating Stance. Wain regains half the hit points he lost as a temporary hit point that last until his next stance.
