Multiattack. The bear makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d12 + 5) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (4d4 + 5) slashing damage and the target has the Prone condition if it is Huge or smaller.
Maul. If the bear's target is grappled, the bear can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

A monstrous and terrifying bear that roams the most remote regions of Barovia's mountains and deep forests. The Barovian Hunter Bear is a beast of the ancient days of Barovia, blessed by The Huntress before the coming of Strahd turned the land to darkness.
