Bladebond (Recharges after a Long Rest). Akuryo is bonded to his cursed blade, which he wields as an extension of his being. He can summon his sword to his hand from any distance, even across planar boundaries, as long as he is on the same plane.
Phantom Step (Recharge 5-6). As a bonus action, Akuryo can teleport to an unoccupied space he can see within 60 feet, leaving behind a ghostly image.
Multiattack. Akuryo makes two attacks with his Stained Blade.
Stained Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
22 2d12+2 slashing damage + 2d4 necrotic damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or suffer the "Marked by the Stained Blade" condition (see below).
Marked by the Stained Blade. A creature marked by the Stained Blade cannot regain hit points.
Darkness Unleashed (Recharge 5-6). Akuryo unleashes a wave of darkness in a 30-foot radius centered on himself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 15 (3d10) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Additionally, Akuryo gains temporary hit points equal to half the total damage dealt.
Spirit Sever. When a creature makes an attack against an Akuryo, he can sever himself from his body as a spirit and avoid all damage for one attack. Roll to hit and on hit slash for 1d10 damage.
Description
Akuryo, the Stained Blade, is a 6'2" lean but muscular fiend with pale gray skin and piercing crimson eyes that glow like embers. His long, flowing black hair drifts eerily around him. He wears dark, tattered robes accented in crimson, revealing Onihide Armor beneath, etched with sinister symbols. His cursed weapon, the Stained Blade, is a black longsword with dark red veins pulsating with malevolent energy. Akuryo is vengeful and manipulative, driven by a relentless quest for power and a twisted obsession with reclaiming his brother’s blade. His aura distorts light, shrouding him in shadows that enhance his fearsome presence, making him a haunting embodiment of chaotic evil.
