Description

A cunning, mistrustful individual shaped by a world that has repeatedly let them down.

A fiercely independent and deeply suspicious figure, often rejecting help and defaulting to deception to protect themselves. Their mistrust leads them to see manipulation in even well-meaning gestures, and they prefer lying over showing vulnerability.

They fidget with spell components when nervous, constantly scan their surroundings, and are wary of compliments, assuming ulterior motives. Dressed in practical, worn clothing with hidden pockets, their sharp, darting eyes give away their ever-watchful nature.

They value freedom and autonomy above all else, carrying a deep connection to their magic as the only reliable thing in their life. Despite their cynicism, they may protect a single trusted companion or a token from their past that reminds them of lost innocence.

  • Playful Mischief: While they may have trust issues, they also have a mischievous streak. The child enjoys causing harmless trouble, playing pranks, or using their magic to trick people. They find joy in creating illusions or manipulating situations for their amusement, often as a way to feel in control.
  • Trust Issues: The child is deeply cynical and mistrustful of adults, even within the party. They are hesitant to take advice and often believe they know better than those older than them.
  • Survivor’s Mentality: Growing up on the streets or in difficult circumstances, the child learned to rely only on themselves. They are highly self-sufficient, but their independence can make them reluctant to accept help or work closely with others.
