Blighted Resilience. The Lord is resistant to blighted energy and partially immune to the Blighted Scourge. It can be infected and reach stage 4, but it will not transform into a Blighted creature upon death.
Illusionist's Cloak. The Unseen Weasel Lord can cast the invisibility spell on itself at will, without expending a spell slot or material components.
Master of Deception. The Lord has advantage on Charisma (Deception) checks and can cast the minor illusion cantrip at will, creating complex illusions up to eight times normal size with sound and faint movement.
Illusionary Escape (Recharge 4–6). The Lord can use its reaction to cast mirror image or blur when targeted by an attack or spell.
Supreme Unseen Illusions. The Lord remains invisible in dim light or darkness, even when casting spells or attacking, unless under the effect of truesight. When it casts a spell or attacks, a blurred outline briefly reveals its position, granting attackers disadvantage on their attacks rather than full concealment.
Phantasmal Shroud. The Lord exudes an aura of illusory mist within 40 feet, causing all enemies to have disadvantage on Perception checks and attack rolls against it.
Humanoid Shapeshift (2/Day). The Unseen Weasel Lord can transform into a humanoid form for up to 3 hours. In this form:
- It retains its Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma, but loses its natural weapons.
- While in this form, its AC is 19.
- It automatically reverts to its original form if it drops to 0 hit points or as a bonus action.
Multiattack. The Lord makes two attacks: one with its Bite and one with its Claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (3d6 + 7) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 7) slashing damage.
Phantasmal Domination (Recharge 5-6). The Lord creates an illusory, monstrous creature within 60 feet of a target. The target must succeed on a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or take 35 (7d8 + 6) psychic damage and become charmed until the end of the Lord's next turn.
Shadow Step. The Lord can teleport up to 80 feet to an unoccupied space it can see in darkness or dim light.
Cloak of Shadows (1/round). When attacked by a melee or ranged attack, the Unseen Weasel can use its reaction to create an illusory duplicate of itself, causing the attack to miss if it rolls a 15 or lower on a d20.
Description
The Unseen Weasel Lord is a rare and powerful ruler among the Unseen Weasels, a race of master illusionists that dwell in the Verdant Steppes. This enigmatic being is a supreme trickster, capable of weaving illusions so intricate that even seasoned warriors and spellcasters struggle to discern reality from deception. Unlike lesser Unseen Weasels, the Lord's control over illusions allows it to remain unseen even while casting spells and attacking, making it a formidable predator and protector of its kin.
The Unseen Weasel Lord is not merely a solitary hunter—it is the sovereign of illusion, commanding entire regions of phantasmal landscapes that shift at its will. Any who dare trespass in its domain will find themselves trapped in a labyrinth of falsehoods, their senses manipulated to turn friends into foes and familiar landmarks into endless mazes. It is said that the Lord can distort the perception of time itself, making minutes feel like days for those who fall into its web of deception.
In combat, the Unseen Weasel Lord is a nightmare to face, darting between reality and illusion with blinding speed. It is capable of striking down enemies with razor-sharp claws before vanishing into the shadows in the blink of an eye. Those who attempt to fight it will find themselves battling phantoms, their weapons passing harmlessly through mirages while the true Lord strikes from an unseen vantage.
Beyond its unparalleled skills in illusion magic, the Unseen Weasel Lord is revered as a figure of wisdom among its kind, guiding the Unseen Weasels to remain hidden from the world while shaping the reality of those who cross their path. Only the most cunning minds can hope to impress such a being, and even fewer have earned the right to speak with it face to face. Those who do, however, gain insight into a world where truth and falsehood blur into a single, shifting reality.
