Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4) bludgeoning damage.
Forbidden Secrets. The Afflicted attempts to Grapple a creature in range. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength or Dexterity Save with Disadvantage. On a failure, the target is Grappled and gains the Restrained condition. The Afflicted imparts a piece of one of it's cursed secrets to the target. The target gains 1 Madness Counter and becomes afflicted with a Short-Term Madness effect from the Madness table and gains one Madness Counter. Upon acquiring a second Madness Counter, the target becomes afflicted with a Long-Term Madness effect. Any further Madness Counters gained cause the target to suffer from an Indefinite Madness effect.
A Calm Emotions spell can suppress the effects of madness, while a Lesser Restoration spell can rid a character of a short-term or long-term madness. Depending on the source of the madness, Remove Curse might also prove effective. A Greater Restoration spell or more powerful magic is required to rid a character of indefinite madness.
