Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Alaryn fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Stormborn. Alaryn can breathe underwater and move through water without impediment. He can also summon storms (as per the Control Weather spell) with a duration of 1 minute, usable 3 times per day.
Titanic Presence. Creatures of Medium size or smaller within 30 feet of Alaryn must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn.
Multiattack. Alaryn makes three attacks: one with his Lightning Cutlass and two with his Thunderous Slam.
Lightning Cutlass. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 36 (6d8 + 8) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) lightning damage.
Thunderous Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (6d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage, and the target must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or be knocked prone.
Storm Burst (Recharge 5–6). Alaryn releases a blast of storm energy in a 30-foot radius centered on himself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success. The area becomes difficult terrain until the end of Alaryn's next turn.
Alaryn can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Alaryn regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
- Storm Strike. Alaryn makes one Lightning Cutlass attack.
- Whirlwind Dash. Alaryn moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
- Lightning Bolt (Costs 2 Actions). Alaryn casts Lightning Bolt (spell save DC 18) as a 5th-level spell.
