Mindflayer Hunter. The Vanguard Operative has advantage on saving throws against Mindflayer's attacks and abilities. In addition, their attacks deal an extra 2d6 radiant damage against aberrations.

Phase Strike. Once per turn, when RT-5 hits a creature with its Vibroblade Glaive, the attack ignores nonmagical armor, and the target takes an additional 10 (3d6) force damage.

Combat Reflexes. RT-5 can make one additional reaction each round (up to two reactions total) and adds its Dexterity modifier to initiative rolls.

Adaptive Armor. RT-5's armor automatically adjusts to the last type of damage it suffered, granting resistance to that type for 1 hour. This feature recharges after a short or long rest.

Multiattack. RT-5 makes two attacks: one with its Vibroblade Glaive and one with its DC-12 Laser Shotgun.

Vibroblade Glaive. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage plus 10 (3d6) force damage. The attack ignores nonmagical armor.

DC-12 Laser Shotgun. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (4d8 + 5) radiant damage. If the target is within 10 feet, it takes an additional 10 (3d6) fire damage.

Concussive Blast (Recharge 5-6). RT-5 fires a shockwave from its DC-12 Laser Shotgun in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) force damage and being knocked prone on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Bonus Actions

Astral Shift. As a bonus action, RT-5 can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. After teleporting, RT-5 becomes invisible until the start of its next turn.

Reactions

Vibroblade Glaive Mastery. RT-5 can make attacks of opportunity whenever a creature enters its reach, not just when they leave. The critical hit range for the Vibroblade Glaive is 19-20.
